U.S.-based home improvement retailer The Home DepotĀ® has entered the Metaverse.
The implemented Metaverse concept 100% reflects the strategy of this successful and innovative retailer.
They are now offering a new Virtual Kids Workshop, an experience in Roblox’s Redcliff City.
Players can enjoy the game and learn by collecting materials to build projects.
Very similar concept they are running in the brick and mortar stores across the country. They are called Kids Workshops.
“We’re taking the Kids Workshops experience to a new level in the metaverse, inspiring more future makers by meeting them where they are,” said Molly Battin, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at The Home Depot. She continues: “Our Virtual Kids Workshops take the familiarity of The Home Depot – a weekend getaway that many young people already experience with their families – and combine it with the discovery, problem-solving and fun that Roblox is known for.”
It’s nice to see this retailer innovating and bringing its traditional concept to the virtual world.
